Buyer demand for land & second homes
Where is your ideal second home? How far would you be willing to travel?
Our ResortScape.com and LandWatch.com users spend hours exploring resort property, vacation homes, and land for sale. Surprisingly, nearly 75% of our registered users are looking at properties that average over 100 miles from their home, half are looking at land over 300 miles away, and a third are looking at properties that on average are over 800 miles away!
What does this mean for you? If you're trying to sell land, it might mean that money you are spending advertising locally would be better spent on the web, where you can reach a broader audience.
Next month we'll be sharing some very interesting information about how far people from different parts of the country are willing to go to seek out second homes and land (and we're not just talking about folks who live in Alaska or Hawaii).
